My name is Viv, and I am wife to MM, and mother to Gman (13) and Waif (8).  We are a home educating family from the East of England.

This blog is to document our progress as we transition towards a “primal” way of eating emphasising fresh meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds, and minimal high fat dairy.

The aim of this blog is to share our progress, in the hope of encouraging others along the same path.  I will be sharing details of the sort of things we eat, with recipes and meal ideas.  Food porn this will not be – I am a decent cook, but my presentation skills are not exactly up to Masterchef standards 😉 and I am certainly no great photographer.

Hopefully this blog will also go some way to reassuring concerned family and friends that, yes, this is a sustainable and sensible way of eating and no, mum, we will not be starving to death!!
