Lamb, Chilli & Mint Burgers

Yes, you can have burgers without baps!  Here are some lamb burgers I made this week:

Lamb, Chilli & Mint Burgers

500g organic lamb mince

1 red onion, finely chopped

1 red chilli, finely chopped

handful fresh mint leaves, finely chopped

1 tbsp ground cumin

1 egg, beaten

salt & pepper to taste

Mix everything up.  Shape into burgers. Chill until ready to cook.

Cook on a preheated grill or fry in ghee.

I served ours with butternut squash, courgette, shallot, fennel and peppers roasted in coconut oil with a generous sprinkling of spices.  Delicious 🙂

    Yum! When we ate out recently we had bacon jam with our burger – it was delicious.
